If you are more of a DIY trainer who wants to handle the backgrounding training yourself, Wildrose has just the tool that you will need to be successful. This app was developed from the exact processes that our Wildrose trainers use when we background puppies. The app is available for both Android and Apple platforms and has all the information you will need to be successful as you embark on this process. The app contains:
- A narrative section is designed to help get you and your pup in the right fame of mind to be successful in your training.
- A daily training tracker which details the skills that you should be working on, the frequency and allows you to give yourself/you dog a binary pass/fail grade and add comments (if you would like) supporting your rationale. Many of the skills have a link to a short video demonstrating one of our trainers teaching this skill. There are also page references to where each one of these drills is refenced in the Training The Wildrose Way book
- An upload my data button. With one click of the button and entering an email address, you can send a summary report to yourself or to one of our Wildrose trainers. From here, we will be able to see how you are doing and more specifically answer questions that you may have.
As with many things in life, we start out with a great routine and then get busy and let things slip a bit. This app will help give you the discipline that is important during these critical months of training.
